Build connection diversity

Start with every practical connection available to the Windows computer: wired Ethernet, venue Wi-Fi, USB mobile modems and phone tethering. Prefer separate providers and physical paths. If the venue router fails, both its Ethernet and Wi-Fi may fail together, so mobile links provide important independence.

Bond instead of switching manually

Manual failover requires the operator to notice a problem, change the route and wait for the encoder to reconnect. Bonding keeps active links available at the same time. Traffic continues through working connections while the operator can diagnose or replace a failed local link.

Monitor what each link contributes

A connected adapter is not automatically a useful adapter. Watch upload and latency during the live stream. A link with very high latency, repeated disconnects or no assigned Internet route may need attention. Clear per-link status makes the decision visible instead of relying on guesswork.

Avoid local bottlenecks

Use good USB cables, adequate power and reliable network drivers. Separate high-draw modems across powered hubs when required. Confirm that Windows recognizes every adapter and that local CPU usage remains reasonable while the encoder and bonding application run together.
